Privilege Pay

Privilege Pay saves you the expense of a check being returned in the event of a balancing error. We will honor your checks and help you avoid service fees and/or late payment charges.

Eligibility
Privilege Pay will apply to both share drafts (checks) and automatic payments that overdraw the member’s account. A paid Privilege Pay item will incur the standard credit union NSF fee (fee subject to change). You are not in default on any loan obligations to the credit union. Loans, Visa®, or Mastercard® must not be more than seven (7) days past due. You bring your account to a positive balance (not overdrawn) at least once every thirty (30) days. Your account is not subject to any legal or administrative order or levy. We may refuse to pay an overdraft for you at any time, even though your account is in good standing and even though we may previously paid overdrafts for you. The amount of any overdrafts plus the non-sufficient funds and/or overdraft (NSF/OD) charge(s) that you owe us shall be due and payable upon demand. If there is an overdraft paid by us on an account with more than one (1) owner on the signature card, each owner, and agent if applicable, drawing/presenting the item creating the overdraft, shall be jointly and severally liable for such overdrafts plus our non-sufficient and/or overdraft (NSF/OD) charge(s). New and existing eligible consumer checking accounts will be assigned an “overdraft Privilege Limit” (ODP). We will recommend a limited installment repayment plan for members who cannot cover their overdrafts within thirty (30) days, but who are otherwise good members of the credit union.
